Has been Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of Argentina; and Secretary of Industry, Commerce and Mining of Argentina. Has been the Alternate Negotiator representing Argentina during the Uruguay Round WTO negotiations.
Has been consultant for World Bank, IADB, EU Commission, UNDP, OAS, FAO, ECLA, IICA, IFAD, JICA, Ministry of Science of Argentina. Private consultant on investment and trade and manager of farms.
Member of the Scientific Board of Fondation pour l’Agriculture et la Ruralité dans le Monde. Has been Vice Chairman of the International Food and Agricultural Trade Policy Council. Member of the Argentine Council for International Relations, and Member of the Group of Producing Countries from de Southern Cone.
