François Martins is Mercado Libre’s (NASDAQ:MELI) manager for Government Relations and Public Policy based in Brazil. François builds bridges between Mercado Libre’s business needs and the public sector's programmes and goals to achieve a better and sounder business environement that supports innovation and economic development. Prior to joining Mercado Libre he served as AMD’s public affairs manager for Latin America. François also worked as a consultant for the Brazilian Federal Government at the OECD on issues pertaining to the organisation’s Convention on Combating Bribery of Foreign Public Officials. He holds a Law degree from Université Paris 5 - René Descartes, France, and an LL.M. from Universidad de Valladolid, Spain.
